Absence Reporting Procedures
If your child will be absent or arriving late, we want to make it as easy as possible to let us know. This page walks you through how to report an absence for your student's school. Click on the appropriate building below for instructions.
Bedford Road School
Parents/guardians should enter absences into School Dismissal Manager by 8:30am.
If it is not updated by 8:30am, a staff member from the attendance office will call the child’s parents/guardians to verify their absence from school.

Pleasantville Middle School
Parents/guardians are asked to call the attendance coordinator, Liza Schneeweiss, at (914) 741-1450 x30507 to report a child's absence no later than 8:30am.
If you are reporting an absence due to health reasons, the information will be shared with the school nurses Amy McCarthy / Jennifer Nicoletti who can be reached at (914) 741-1450 x30700.
Pleasantville High School
Parents/guardians are asked to call the attendance coordinator, Patrick O'Driscoll, at (914) 741-1420 x20507 to report a child's absence no later than 9:00am.
If you are reporting an absence due to health reasons, the information will be shared with the school nurse Chandler Jordan who can be reached at (914) 741-1420 x20700.
