About Us
About Our District
Each of Pleasantville’s three schools has been recognized as both a state and federal School of Excellence. Pleasantville Middle School has also been named a national and state School to Watch, underscoring the District’s commitment to academic achievement, innovation, and student well-being.
To support teaching and learning, the District provides personal laptops to all teachers and students in grades 2–12 and iPads to students in grades K–1. Two Learning Management Systems — Seesaw for grades K–4 and Schoology for grades 5–12 — help ensure continuity, communication, and access to learning resources.
Phase Two of Pleasantville Schools 2026, the District’s second five-year strategic plan, outlines aspirations in Communication, Curriculum, Infrastructure & Resources, Leadership, Partnerships, and Wellness. Developed collaboratively by more than 100 stakeholders, the plan reflects a shared vision for continuous improvement and a strong future for Pleasantville Schools.
Bedford Road School

Through the Theater Arts Program, every student has the opportunity to “shine” on stage, building confidence and creativity. An extended learning program further enriches the experience, offering engaging opportunities that support curiosity and academic growth for all students.
Pleasantville Middle School
