BRS Student Registration

Incoming Kindergarten students must be 5 years old on or before December 1, 2026 in order to be eligible for the 2026-2027 school year.

1. Complete online and submit:
   • School Registration
2. Please e-mail the following documents to brsregistration@pleasantvilleschools.org: 
   • (You may also fax, mail, or bring them to the Bedford Road School Main Office)
   • Proof of Birth (Original Birth Certificate with raised seal or Passport will need to be provided in person at a later date if digital copy is sent) 
   • Proof of Residency (Please click on this link for full details)
     • If you own:
       • Copy of mortgage or deed
     • If you Rent:
       • Landlord Affidavit
       • Tenant Affidavit
       • Third-Party Affidavit
   • Home Language Questionnaire: English / Spanish
   • NYS School Health Examination Form
   • Health History Form
   • Immunization Record
   • Dental Health Certificate (Optional, but recommended)
   • Recent Photo
3. New Students Only (transferring from another school)
   • Print, Complete, Sign and return to BRS Main Office:
   • Records Release Form
   • Special Education Release of Information
4. If Applicable
   • Other Health Information and Forms: Immunization requirements, forms needed if applicable, and health-related policies
   • ​​​​​​​Foster Child Notification
   • FREE AND REDUCED LUNCH: Eligibility guidelines and application for free and reduced price meals (for the current school year only)
