This blueprint for the future gave the community an effective voice in the direction and operation of its public schools through participation on the 30-35 member Strategic Planning Team, comprised of representatives from the Board of Education, administrators, teachers, parents, community members, and students; and another 130+ who served on Action Teams that developed measurable goals for the seven strategies identified in the Five-Year Strategic Plan.
Annual Updates
For each of the five years, administrators gave two Strategic Plan presentations to the Board of Education, one in early fall and one in late spring.
A Commitment to the Work, presented in the early fall, notes the strategies the administrators committed to implementing in the coming year. The Accountability Report, presented in late spring, details progress made towards operationalizing those selected strategies.
