A Framework for Learning

This vision is grounded in Pleasantville's Framework of Learning, a shared set of principles that defines what meaningful learning looks like across every classroom, grade level, and subject area. This framework gives teachers a common language for designing instruction and gives students a consistent lens for understanding their own growth, whether they're solving an equation, analyzing a text, or building a project. It reflects the belief that learning is more than the accumulation of content: it is the development of thinking, character, and purpose that students carry with them long after they leave a classroom.
